Based on LinkedIn member and job listing data, it has revealed the top professional skills which are rising. LinkedIn Skills on the Rise has highlighted the top rising skills in fifteen different sectors along with overall listing of key skills which are getting attention based on which LinkedIn users are adding to their profiles and skills which are listed in LinkedIn job ads.
Given below are the top 15 skills on the rise in 2025:

- Innovative Thinking
- Large Language Model (LLM) Development & Application

- Regulatory Compliance

- Solution-Based Selling
Both technical and non-technical people have added AI as a skill and for addition to this list, it has been renamed as AI Literacy for reflecting that members adding AI as a skill now making use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT while not necessarily learning AI technical skills. Other AI technical skills such as LLM come further down on the list.
In order to help with these skills, LinkedIn has created a variety of LinkedIn Learning courses related to skills listed for free until April 18th.
