So now you will see more elements to Grok AI chatbot of X as the company is now looking to push it as value addition for driving adoption of X Premium. Now users will be able to add permanent qualifiers into Grok’s process as it can use this for personalizing interactions.
With this you would be able to tell Grok who you are, your job, preferred names or pronouns etc. With this data, Grok would be able to build it into their algorithm while providing answers which would improve response in the future.
It can be considered as a valuable addition but it does depend upon exactly how much the Grok system would be able to understand and interpret and how it is built into responses. If considered theoretically, it could make for personalized chatbot interactions which could drive better interest in the tool.
This is expected to improve analytical capacity and bring it across as a valuable tool for different purposes. Though it’s still early to say how much value Grok would provide in the future.
It faces completion from other companies like Google, Meta and OpenAI. All the chatbots from these companies require huge investment and have a far better reach than xAI as of now and will be difficult to see what kind of differentiation xAI would be able to add and make it stand out and give more value these tools. Two new automated ad creation features have been released by X which enhance creative and targeting efforts for the advertisers. First feature is “Prefill with Grok” has been offered to select advertisers through X Ads Manager and is used for used for generating ad copy, CTA and imagery which has been tailored to a brand depending upon a provided website URL. Advertisers will be able to edit the copy and swap images for customizing their ad creative.
The next feature is “Analyse Campaign with Grok” which uses AI for providing insights into ad performance. This tool prvides AI driven breakdowns od campaign data which would help advertisers in refining targeting, optimizing impact and adjusting creatives. This feature is meant to identify trends and opportunities by leveraging xAI’s understanding of X ads and user engagement. Both the features will be gradually introduced with platform planning a phased rollout over the coming months.
With Grok users will now be able to ask questions, generate images and analyze posts for getting more context and generate responses.
It still needs to be seen whether AI chatbots would be having a place within social media apps. The latest wave of generative AI tools has seen Meta marry its AI chatbot into all of its apps whereas Linkedin has also been adding more and more AI elements for assisting in the posting process.
Would it be really assistive for getting AI tools to generate posts on your behalf which you can then post to social media apps which have been foundationally built around human to human interaction? Generative AI is really of any value when you know what you want from it and you on the other hand have enough of expertise and insight for analyzing its outputs.
Gen AI would make it easier for lawyers to research cases and ask for different cases supporting them and different angles for arguments. Though it would be saving time but at the end of the day you need to have knowledge about legal processes if the output which has been provided is correct or not and how one can cross check the examples of the cases in order to benefit from it.
So wait and see how AI progresses!
