So now Linkedin has gone ahead and expanded its Ad Library database of all ads which is hosted in the app with new Job Library segment providing the same oversight for its paid job listings. Now you will be able to search through all the promoted positions from any business with different options for honing in your list.
For layman, Job Library from Linkedin is a publicly available database which gives information regarding paid job posts which have run on Linkedin. By using Job Library, a person can search for paid jobs by country, company, keyword and date range.
The database comprises of all jobs which have been listed on Linkedin since April 2025 and Linkedin keeps all promoted job listings active in tool for a year after the post has been closed. As part of creating trusted and safe ad experience, Job Library comprises of information regarding ads served on Linkedin which includes payer name, company name, job post and whether the job is restricted and dates when the job was open on Linkedin.
Besides basic job ad listing info, the Job Library of Linkedin also displays additional information regarding impressions, targeting and details regarding restricted job posts. Regarding paid job posts in EU, Linkedin Job Library shows targeting parameters selected by job posters while posting their job. The visibility of job posts is to all members and is not targeted to same extent as ads.

The EU listing would also include extra additional information regarding location the ad was targeted to and selected skills used in targeting. It also includes job ad impression info for EU job posts which includes estimated total impressions and impression breakdown by country. This is a logical expansion of its transparency listings.
It was in 2023 that Ad Library was launched and it is in line with the emerging data transparency requirements and this expansion clarifies full scope of paid promotional offerings and ensures further transparency across the board.
This can also be used as a handy research tool which would provide further insight into how different businesses are looking to boost their open positions and which skills are high in demand. Even though lot of information is already available to the recruiter but there must be ways to tap into these additional insights to enhance the hiring approach.
Linkedin has been one of the pioneers in the field of professional networking and comes among the top websites in the world which connect professionals across the globe. It is also favored among companies looking for talent and professionals looking for new job opportunities. For this very reason, there are millions of professionals and thousands of companies which are registered on the website and have benefited in a big way not just for talent search but even for branding and sharing knowledge related to latest happenings and developments in the professional world.
I believe that this option will let companies to compare their job postings, look at gaps and improve their search of prospective talent for their organization. This would enable them to analyze the data in a better manner and help to take informed decisions.
