It shows that Snapchat users spend more on Valentine\u2019s Day gifts than others which makes it a valuable destination for marketing push. It also states that Snapchat users reply more on advice from friends and family while making a purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It also states that you can create memorable experience around Valentine\u2019s Day which can help in creating brand loyalty on a long term and AR experiences of Snapchat can be a powerful tool in this respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In case of Snapchatters, they like connecting with friends and families and they have a major role to play in shaping purchase experience. They turn to each other for sharing ideas, seeking real time feedback and getting advice before making a purchase. Talking to friends and families is the biggest trigger for them to shop for Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
91% of the Snapchatters feel that Valentine\u2019s Day is more about love and not just romance. On the other hand, 77% of the Snapchatters believe that it is more of a commercial event but we still shop for gifts for celebrating the occasion. Most of the Snapchatters start planning from January and look for brands providing recommendations, inspirations and best deals. Another 36% believe that Valentine\u2019s Day shopping season come depending upon big sales events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For making the most out of Valentine\u2019s Day, Snapchatters turn to brands for getting inspired about gifts and ideas on how to celebrate holiday. By creating memorable experiences on Snapchat, brands can earn trust of them and build long term brand loyalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Snapchatters have already started researching and seeking inspiration on the best Valentine\u2019s Day gifts, this creates a major opportunity for brands in engaging early. With the help of their advertising products like Takeover products, AR and creator collaborations, brands will be able to create impactful experiences which can capture attention and drive lasting engagements. 72% of the Snapchatters stated that they would visit a brand store after seeing an ad on Snapchat for holiday which they were gearing up for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
